I'm here to show you how human I am
I'm late again today.
It's been like that for a while.
For the past two weeks, I've not sent my newsletters by 10 am.
I even skip some days.
I'm here to confess that it's not deliberate.
It's easy to do what some of us in this space do, and tell you I've been busy handling this and that community.
Or move your focus away from my inconsistency and talk about the lessons you can learn from it.
I'm tempted to do that, but this is me bringing my struggles to the limelight.
I'm here to show you how human I am and can be.
I'm here to show you that your struggles are valid.
Mistakes can happen.
The problems you face are not peculiar to you.
We all have those days we want to go back to our shells and chill.
We have those days we want to hide in our rooms and just watch a movie, read a romance novel, and sleep.
We all have those days we don't want to write anything or design anything or build anything.
However, it is how you come back that matters.
Do you keep wallowing in the agony of letting those days happen?
Or would you stand, embrace your bad days, and do better?
I'm choosing the latter. You should too.
A life well-lived is not a life without ups and downs.
It is a life lived with both, yet lived remarkably.
Stay amazing,
I'm Bridget.
